Pronto: All You Can Eat and Drink

I went there last Sunday with Hendy, Mas Rhesa, and Mas Yovan, the one at Pondok Indah Mall.

Just like Hanamasa, this Italian restaurant is also an all you can eat and drink. Pronto is quite cheap, compared to Hanamasa. With Rp69,500.00 (+10% VAT), we can take any food and beverage we want. It has various menu, too: many kinds of pasta, grilled ribs, pizza, chicken soup, salad, and many more.

Delizioso! And we ate much, as much as we could, and we were so overstuffed.

Our next culinary destination is another all you can eat restaurant, The Buffet at Semanggi Plaza.

Papa Ron’s Crazy Tuesday

Crazy Tuesday is one of Papa Ron’s promos. We buy one large or medium pizza, we get one free pizza with the same size.

At first, I thought Crazy Tuesday was for large pizza only ’cause on Papa Ron’s web, it’s written so. I invited some friends since I need many people for two large pizza. But it rained suddenly. And most of my friends couldn’t go. I got worried. Fortunately, there was a reply from Papa Ron’s in my Facebook massage box. I had written them before, asking some questions about Crazy Tuesday. They said we could have Crazy Tuesday for medium pizza, too.

So, last Tuesday, I went there with Hendy and Mas Rhesa.

And these are our pizzas and fettuccine. Oh, we also got free fettuccine by buying two glasses of juice float. Great!

The taste? Hm, it will be better if the pizza had bigger size, softer bread, thicker topping, and more taste. But over all, it’s quite nice, especially because we got so many bonuses. Thanks to Papa Ron’s.

I have more photos but most of them are the pictures of my friend and me in front of the mirror. Hahaha. Here: [link].

Having Lunch and Watching Boo at Bintaro Plaza

So, today I hung out alone at Bintaro Plaza. It’s not that I didn’t wanna invite my friends. There’s something I wanna buy and I didn’t feel comfortable to go buy it with someone. Let’s skip the shopping part since it’s not too important. Hahaha.

Es Teler 77

I ordered bakso and es teler.

The bakso wasn’t so nice. The taste of the broth is too thick. They added tempura in it, it doesn’t match with the meatballs. And I think the price was too expensive for a bowl of bakso. Rp26,400.00. Hahaha. There’s no nice bakso in Jakarta anyway. I miss bakso Malang.

But es teler is nice. It’s made of avocado, coconut, jackfruit, shaved ice, milk, and caramel. Yummy.

Boo

Next, I watched Boo at Bintaro 21.

My mistakes are first, I didn’t bring any friend with me. Second, I didn’t bring my glasses so I had to sit on the third row from the screen. The studio was so empty. There were only ten people watching and they sat on the back rows. So, I sat alone. There’s no one within five meters. And it was a horror film.

Damn.

By the way, this movie is actually released in 2005. So old.

The story was about a group of college students that spent a Halloween night in a haunted hospital. Don’t wanna tell much about the movie since the story wasn’t good. Hmm, 5/10 for it, I think.

Making Spaghetti with Friends

So, today we cooked together in our friends’ house on Jalan Cendrawasih V. We made simple cooking with La Fonte spaghetti, Del Monte pasta sauce, chilly sauce, garlic and onion, mincemeat, and cheese.

Enes, Rheno, and Rijal worked the most. And the others? Some came to the kitchen to look at the progress or taste some sauce and cheese. And me? I took the pictures. Hahaha.

And we argued a lot about how much sauce, how to grate the cheese since there’s no cheese grater, and the spaghetti was burnt but then we added more water. But it was fun.

And here’s our amateur work.

Very amateur, we added much water in the sauce and it ended up less salty. We mix the sauce with the spaghetti and the cheese was cut, not grated. It looked more like fried noddle than spaghetti. Hahaha.

Itadakimasu! We ate together from one pan. And my pose in the picture above is so absurd, Rheno said and I realized it. I really love that picture, though, looks like a lunch of a family.

The taste? Not as nice as the ones I usually eat at Pizza Hut. But there’s a very special taste in it: TOGETHERNESS!

Having Dinner at Waroeng Steak & Shake

Ex-class 1L went to Waroeng Steak & Shake yesterday. Wanted to join them but had an appointment to watch Eat Pray Love at Gandaria City. Well, I also felt bad to join them since they weren’t my classmates, actually, some of them are just my hangout mates.

Still wanting to eat some steak, I invited a friend to go there but he suddenly canceled it. Then I wrote on Twitter, “Ugh… I wanna eat steak.” Then my friends replied that they wanted to join and we agreed to have dinner together. “Twitter enables us to deal with plans easily,” I tweeted then.

This place is so college student. Cozy and cheap. Tonight I had double sirloin steak, chicken steak, and apple juice for Rp29,000.00 only. Wanted to order more spaghetti but I was already overstuffed.

One thing I pity from Waroeng Steak & Shake in Jakarta is that the smaller size of the steak and the more expensive price than Waroeng Steak & Shake in Malang. Well, things are more expensive in Jakarta anyway.

Finally, thanks to my friends for the dinner tonight. It was great. So, what’s our next hangout plan?
